After rejoining Chelsea for £97.5 million ($124.9 million) in the summer of 2021, seven years after his initial departure, Romelu Lukaku's future remains a major concern for the club for the third consecutive summer. The Belgian striker has not been able to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge. As a result, Chelsea is now seeking to offload him on a permanent basis following two successive loan spells with Inter Milan and Roma.

However, the report indicates that Lukaku is not keen on relocating to Birmingham and is holding out for an opportunity with Napoli.
