Manchester United's Antony, who has struggled to make a significant impact since his high-profile transfer, is reportedly emerging as a key target for Al-Nassr. The Saudi Arabian club is reportedly eager to reunite Antony with Cristiano Ronaldo, with whom he played during the first half of the 2022-23 season at Manchester United. 

According to Football Insider, Al-Nassr is actively pursuing a new winger this summer and has already made an initial approach for Antony. The club had initially expressed interest in Barcelona's Raphinha but has now redirected its attention to Antony. Since his transfer to United for a substantial fee of £85 million ($108 million) in 2022, Antony's tenure has been challenging. In 82 appearances for the club, he has managed to contribute only 16 goals, a far cry from the expectations set by his transfer fee.

United, aware of the potential financial hit they might take on Antony’s departure, would prefer to sell him this summer. However, the club is also open to the possibility of a loan move, provided that the new team covers his substantial wages of £100,000 per week. With Antony’s contract extending for three more years, a loan arrangement might be a more practical and financially viable solution.

The uncertainty surrounding Antony's future adds to the anticipation as Manchester United prepares for their upcoming fixtures. It remains to be seen if Antony will be included in the squad for the Community Shield match against Manchester City this weekend. Following that, United is set to begin their Premier League campaign at home against Fulham on August 16.
