STEVENAGE HAVE SIGNED GOALKEEPER MURPHY COOPER ON A SEASON-LONG LOAN FROM QPR

The 22-year-old player, who honed his skills at the R's academy, spent the previous season on loan at Swindon Town. During his time there, he made 23 appearances in League Two, demonstrating his talent and gaining significant match experience. His performances at Swindon Town highlighted his potential and readiness for the next step in his career.

Stevenage FC has announced that Cooper will be joining their squad immediately. The club has arranged for him to make his debut on Saturday, where he will take to the field against Chelsea Under-21s. This debut comes just moments after the official confirmation of his signing, marking a swift transition into his new role with the team.

As for the upcoming season, Alex Revell's squad is preparing to launch their League One campaign. Their first match of the season is set to take place on August 10, where they will face off against Shrewsbury Town.
