Fullkrug poised to join West Ham as Dortmund approves his departure

NICLAS FULLKRUG IS HEADING TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE! BORUSSIA DORTMUND HAS CONFIRMED THE STRIKER'S DEPARTURE FOR TRANSFER TALKS WITH WEST HAM

Niclas Fullkrug is set to leave Borussia Dortmund as he nears a transfer to West Ham United. Dortmund confirmed via their social media platforms that the Germany international has exited their training camp in Switzerland. He is now expected to engage in negotiations with West Ham regarding a potential move to the Premier League. Dortmund's official X account shared, "Niclas Fullkrug departed the training camp in Switzerland on Saturday morning. Borussia Dortmund has granted permission for the striker to discuss terms with another club."

Reports from Sky Germany indicate that Dortmund is demanding a transfer fee of €30 million (£25 million/$33 million) for Fullkrug. This figure includes €25 million (£21 million/$27 million) as an upfront payment, with an additional €5 million in performance-based add-ons. West Ham had initially proposed an offer of around €25 million, which included various bonuses. With Fullkrug's transfer to West Ham appearing imminent, the club is also looking to enhance their squad further. They are targeting an additional midfielder to strengthen their lineup for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

One player linked to West Ham is Scott McTominay of Manchester United. Despite interest, West Ham has not yet submitted a formal bid for McTominay. The club is expected to continue its efforts to secure both Fullkrug and additional reinforcements to improve their squad depth and competitiveness in the new season.
