Man Utd and Bayern agree on Mazraoui transfer deal

MANCHESTER UNITED ACHIEVE A TRANSFER BREAKTHROUGH AS NOUSSAIR MAZRAOUI'S MEDICAL IS SCHEDULED FOLLOWING BAYERN MUNICH'S AGREEMENT TO SELL THE DEFENDER TO THE RED DEVILS 

Foot Mercato previously reported that Mazraoui is set to transfer from Bayern to Manchester United for around £21 million ($27m). The 26-year-old is eager to join the Premier League team. The report also mentioned that United are optimistic about transferring right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with the move contingent on Wan-Bissaka's departure from Old Trafford. Recently, Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna stated that Bayern have agreed to release Mazraoui, who will now undergo a medical in Manchester on Tuesday before signing a contract valid until 2029. This transfer would reunite him with his former Ajax manager, Ten Hag, who previously brought Anthony and Lisandro Martinez from Ajax to United. Born in the Netherlands, Mazraoui began his career at Ajax before moving to Bayern in 2022, where he made 55 appearances. His time at the German club now seems to be ending. Manager Erik ten Hag wants Mazraoui to finalize the transfer soon to include him in the squad for their first competitive match of the season, the Community Shield against Manchester City on August 10.
